CONTRAS AND MUSIC

Here are more photos, mostly musicians, all taken during the Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle. This amazing, free event draws hundreds of musicians and thousands of visitors during its 3½ day run over Memorial Day. Although many dancers rarely leave the huge contra dance hall, there are dozens of other stages with simultaneous performances, and ubiquitous jam sessions through the Seattle Center grounds. Here is a taste of the flavor of Folklife.
